Join the Ministry of Pinecrest ARP Church

Pinecrest Church seeks to equip and disciple adults of all ages for walking with and serving the Lord amongst a community of believers. We provide several opportunities for adults to worship God, study God’s Word, build relationships with others, and use their gifts in service. These opportunities include worship services, Wednesday night programs, small groups, fellowship activities, church committees, ministry teams, outreach events, and service projects.

Committees

The Worship Committee helps make decisions on how we worship as Christians.  This involves everything that happens on Sunday mornings from entering the building to the music in the worship service to the cookie fellowship following the service. The following teams fall under the Worship Committee:

  • Greeter Team
  • Music Team

The Discipleship Committee helps make decisions on how we grow together as Christians. This involves small groups, First Wednesday programs, children’s events, and fellowship activities.  The following teams fall under the Discipleship Committee:

  • Children’s Church Team
  • Meal Team
  • Reception Team
  • Kitchen Team
  • Bus Driver Team

The Outreach Committee helps make decisions on how we serve our community as Christians. This involves monthly outreach events including the Easter Egg Hunt, the Trick or Treat Trail, the Bluegrass Concert, and the First Responders BBQ.  The following teams fall under the Outreach Committee:

  • Hendersonville Rescue Mission Team

The Missions Committee helps make decisions on how we serve our missionaries. This involves choosing which missionaries to support, how we support them, and making decisions on short term mission trips for Pinecrest ARP Church members.

Worship Ministry Teams

Greeter Team
Come to church 30 minutes early and welcome everyone into the church building.

Music Team
Come to church an hour early to practice the songs to lead the congregation in worship.

Discipleship Ministry Teams

Children’s Church Team
Be added to the rotation to lead children’s church on Sundays during the worship service.

Meal Team
Be added to the group that provides meals for members in times of need.

Reception Team
Be a part of the group that hosts receptions for funerals, special events, etc.

Kitchen Team
Brand new service team! Be a part of the group that helps organize, order supplies, and declutter our kitchen every other month.

Bus Driver Team
Join the list of those willing to drive the church bus! No special license needed.

Outreach Ministry Teams

Hendersonville Rescue Mission Team
Be added to the rotation to serve lunch on Tuesdays.

FIRST WEDNESDAYS

Join us on the first Wednesday of each month October through May for a potluck, prayer and program! Dinner starts at 5:30PM with the program following at 6PM.
