Every Tuesday, Pinecrest members reach out to our community by serving lunch at the Hendersonville Rescue mission.
We need volunteers for the 2nd and 5th Tuesdays to keep this going.

Sunday, September 27th is our kick off for our annual shoebox collection for Operation Christmas Child!
We are collecting boxes September 27th through November 16th. Pinecrest’s goal for 2026 is 225 boxes!
If you’d like to “pack” a box online, use the link below. Be sure to tell Dottie if you do, so we can include your box in the total count.
Do you need a ride to church?
Pinecrest is starting bus pick ups on Sunday, October 4th! Contact the church office if you’d like to sign up for a ride to church.
We are always looking for more bus drivers! If you’d like to be added to the bus driver schedule, talk to Jessica or Noel.
The In-Betweens Group meets every two weeks for lunch on Sundays following the worship service. This group is geared towards adults who are out of high school but not yet retired. You are welcome – just come!
Sunday, October 3rd is scheduled to be a Church Work Day! We will be rearranging and organizing rooms, cleaning the bus, painting some walls.

The Outreach Committee will have their next meeting on Sunday, October 18th at 11:15am.
The upcoming outreach events that will be discussed are:
–October: Trick-or-Treat Trail
–November: Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
–December: Christmas Caroling
On Sunday, October 18th, the Pinecrest Youth Group will be going to Grandads Apple Orchard. The plan will be to leave following the worship service around 11:35am and return to Pinecrest around 2pm. It is recommended each youth bring around $10.00.

Saturday, October 24th 4:00PM – 6:00PM
We need at least 30 volunteers – all you need to be able to do is sit and pass out candy! Volunteers are asked to show up that Saturday at 2:30pm. Donations are needed for the purchase of candy.

The next Missions Committee meeting will be directly following the worship service on Sunday, November 8th.
Pinecrest ARP Church is hosting the stated meeting of First Presbytery on Tuesday, November 10th.
We need volunteers to help welcome guests, prepare a light breakfast buffet, serve lunch, and clean up.

The Flat Rock Farmers Market will once again be meeting in our back lot this summer! Come shop local every Thursday from 3PM – 6PM starting May 7th and continuing until October.
Pinecrest ARP Church has switched to a new online giving platform through Zeffy. This allows us to receive 100% of all donations, without having to assess any fees.
A few more volunteers are needed to help with the after worship coffee and cookie fellowship. A sign-up sheet is located on the refreshment table.
The Greeter Team is always looking for new people to help on Sunday mornings. If you can say, “Welcome to church! We are so glad you are here!” to everyone who enters the church building, you’re qualified! Talk to Rhett Carson to sign up.
On the bulletin board outside the sanctuary is a sign up sheet to provide flowers for the worship service.
